We offer a number of ongoing workshops at our studio as well as our fabulous “Family Hands” workshop. When you participate in one of our workshops you get to design what you would like to make and do the set up for the etched design. We can accomodate individuals as well as school groups and other special group workshops. We can arrange times that fit your needs.
Go green with us and use our bottles or recycle your own! We have several different workshops for bottles, pick the one that works for you or come to all of them one at a time.
We have combined all of our bottle options into one workshop, which gives you the best variety and fun for your participation. You can pick what you’d like to make using four bottles per person. Feel free to come back to try another option and make more!
Pick one of the following options, or mix & match:
DRINK-WARE, VASES, HURRICANE LAMPS
I cut to your measurement with the wet saw, then belt sand the edge smooth.
You will learn basic sandblast and etch technique to mask then etch your designs with etching paste. 4 bottles = 4 mugs or tall boys, 4 vases, or 2 hurricane lamps which use 2 bottles/lamp.
You will learn basic sandblast and etch technique to mask then etch your designs with etching paste on 3* bottles. You choose bottle shape and color or bring your own. Use your own artwork or some of ours!
This workshop will combine a number of flat glass and other parts and pieces of bottle bits that can be cut and drilled into attractive shapes, strung and hung as wind chimes.
You will learn basic sandblast and etch technique to mask then etch your designs with etching paste on and then use etching paste to create your designs on 4 pre-drilled 3” beveled glass rounds which can be used as either an ornament or light catcher. This is not a re-use workshop.

Two Day Vase, Lamp & Tumbler Workshops $125.00
We can do a glass tabletop divided into the number of children involved in the project so that each child gets to design a square with their own design. A theme may be picked that all do their art around. Then you get the tabletop to auction off to the parents to raise funds for your school or group’s art department!
This workshop can be done in the school environment as long as you can store the glass safely, then I can blast it at my studio and use one of my display bases for the auction. It’s a win-win- win!
* Grade 4 and up only – Children must be supervised by accompanying adults.
